Architectural
renderings and home portraits are a specialty of Katie
Royce-Salazar. They are a perfect combination of her skills.
Her architectural background allows her to accurately capture a
building, but it is her artistic eye that gives the renderings a
unique, whimsical feel. Typically, she combines a pen and ink
rendering with a bold watercolor wash. Katie works closely with
architects, developers and contractors to create there marketing
architectural renderings.
Watercolor
landscapes are another specialty of Katie Royce-Salazar. Having
grown up in the Sierras of Lake Tahoe and the past eighteen
years in the Rockies of Colorado, she has spent her entire life
in the mountains. Katie loves to paint on location and try to
capture the beauty of her surroundings in watercolor images.
In November of
2002, Katie was featured in
SKI Magazine
as a promising new mountain watercolor artist.
